I believe that Squealer is trying to help Napoleon by telling the animals about why Napoleon chased Snowball off of the farm. Squealer supports Napoleon because it is better to be ruled by Napoleon, than human farmers again. So, he believes that Napoleon did the right thing when he took away the animals' rights to vote. I believe that to be a good leader, Napoleon must listen to the other animals' voices and ideas, or else the animals may revolt against Napoleon.
