Merging Special Ed. with General Ed.

I believe that Special Ed. and General Ed. should not be combined because they both have different learning paces. The Special Ed. class works a little slower than General Ed. because of disabilities, so they will need more help individually than we do. So it would be better to have a separate class of about 10-15 Special Ed. students, rather than combining that with a class of 30-35 students. If the classes combined, both classes would work a lot slower.

Tutoring Experience

     Out of all of my tutoring experiences, this tutoring was the most interesting. The Special Education students have a different learning environment than we do. Instead of learning about all of the subjects that we learn about, they also learn about how to take care of themselves and to cook for themselves. Mrs. Hines is a very good teacher and she teaches her students everything that they need to live by themselves.

     This tutoring experience was unlike my other experiences. While tutoring this class I felt a bit awkward because I did not know the students well. Also, we did not do much to help them during the tutoring, because they already started cooking the cinnamon rolls and all we had to do was watch them.

        This advertisement for the video game, Borderlands 2, uses many different persuasive strategies to advertise their game. The claim of the advertisement is to have the audience buy their game. First, it uses the strategy logos because the advertisement tells the audience that there are 87 bazillion guns in the game. Secondly, it uses the strategy pathos because the advertisement tries to make the audience laugh when they look at the advertisement. Lastly, it uses the strategy of repetition because the advertisement repeats the word 87 bazillion a lot of times.

New Year's Resolutions

     Last year was not a very successful year for me, but I still had fun. I got to celebrate my 16th birthday by going paint balling with my friends and I got to drive around in my dad's car. The reason that I was unsuccessful was because I got two C's in two of my classes. So, for my 2014 resolutions, I will bring up my grade in those classes, and I will try to get straight A's. I also plan on taking my driving test in February or March, so that I can drive myself to places without having to ask my mom. Sometime during the year I will also try to get a partnership with TwitchTv, so that I can make some money by live streaming video games. These are my New Year's resolutions, and I will try my best to achieve them.
